Care Instructions

Wood

Do not expose wood furniture to high heat or humidity. Do not place in direct sunlight or in a damp area. Avoid placing in front of or over heating and air conditioning vents.

Do not place plastic, rubber, or hot objects on your wood furniture. Chemicals in these objects may discolor the finish or soften the wood. Apply a strip of felt, leather, or cork under accessories to avoid such damage. Rotating and shifting accessories is recommended to prevent wear and tear over extended periods of time. Do not drag items across the surface when moving them.

Spilled liquids should be wiped from the surface immediately with a soft, damp cloth. Always wipe the furniture in the direction of the wood grain.

While using your wood furniture as a writing surface, use a protective pad to avoid marks and indentations, especially when using a ballpoint pen.

Use a scratch remover or touch-up pens/sticks to repair scratches from wear and tear.

Dust frequently with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. The furniture may be washed with a mild soap and warm water for a deeper clean. Dry thoroughly using a clean, lint-free cloth and wipe with the grain. For more shine, finish with a furniture polish.

A thorough cleaning is recommended every six months to remove dust and furniture wax buildup.

Avoid using nail polish, nail polish remover, ink pens, or other damaging products near your leather furniture to avoid spills.

Avoid placing newspapers or magazines on the surface, as the inks may transfer onto the leather.

We recommend treating new leather furniture with a professionally applied leather protector.

Vacuum your furniture regularly with the soft brush attachment.

When possible, cushions and pillows should be rotated and reversed on a regular basis to keep the filling evenly distributed and minimize wear and tear.

All fiber cushions should be fluffed regularly to retain even distribution of fibers.

Do not use water to clean upholstery.

This piece must be cleaned with dry clean solvents only. Spot cleaning is only advised if the product is meant for home dry cleaning use. Any product or technique should always be tested on an inconspicuous area before attempting overall cleaning. We recommend using a professional cleaning service whenever possible.

After using a dry clean solvent, use a blow dryer to dry the spot to prevent rings.

Stains, spills, or dirt should be cleaned as soon as possible to retain the longevity of the colors and fabric.
